Splendid dining - enjoy our restaurant
Our first-floor restaurant has been an established and popular place for decades. Nobody will stay alone for long here. In the modern inner space with high tables, you can easily join other guests, order a glass of wine or Schützengarten beer, and join the discussions.
Since the beginning of September 2017, the kitchen brigade has been headed by chef Elio Caluori. His deputy Lino Azevedo has been on the Metropol team for 20 years and knows the house, the metropolitan specialties and the loyal regulars. The service team, which has been led by Aderito dos Santos for almost two decades, is proven and particularly courteous. Together with his deputy Chef de Service Vitor Batista, you will master your task with southern passion, heart and mind. The two gracious Portuguese have the right wine for every dish.
Elio and his team pay great attention to the origin of their raw products. They prefer regional matters, if possible directly from the producer. The orientation of the kitchen can thus be expressed in words: Long live diversity! Long live the South! Our kitchen team has brought all kinds of impressions with them from their travels through Southern Europe, North Africa, the Balkans and Greece to Asia, which have a decisive influence on the Metropol cooking style - and regularly delight the palates of our guests.
Whether in the salon or in the entire restaurant: we will be happy to entertain you and your company in a particularly personal setting. In addition, we close our restaurant for other guests on request. Our first floor restaurant with its unique view of the pulsating life of the Bahnhofplatz is ideal for any occasion and at any time of the year.
Depending on the seating arrangement, our complete Erststock restaurant can accommodate 70 to a maximum of 100 guests and is divided into the following rooms:

You are welcome to chauffeur your guests in front of the restaurant entrance. A 15-minute restaurant stop is available to you free of charge.
